Here are a few photographs and illustrations from our collection depicting the way Wall Street looked throughout various time periods. You’ll notice that the photographs and illustrations were created from the 1800’s all the way to the early 1900’s. In each of the artistic creations you’ll see that the architecture of the buildings change and you’ll also notice that the buildings gradually get taller over the 100 year time frame (1800 – 1900). Throughout these photographs and illustrations you’ll also see how various forms of transportation to Wall Street and how they’ve changed over time. Use these works in order to visually witness and experience what Wall Street was like.
