Steamboat Transport History – Hudson River Audiobook

This is an audio recording from the vintage book “The Story of Manhattan” detailing the historical events of Robert Fulton and the successful creation of the 1st commercial steamboat transport on the Hudson River. The steamboat was primarily used to transport people and goods from Albany to Manhattan and it is said that the boat was able to travel 4 miles an hour.
